Filters: Penta/Dot and Cross DSB Flux/Bright Noise
Ok let's begin Change your Foreground to a Light color from your Tube Change your Background to a Dark color from your Tube Change your Foreground to Gradient ... with the following settings
Open a New Image 600x250 ... Flood Fill with your Gradient Effects> Distortion Effects> Pixelate ... with the following settings
Rename this layer flux ... Duplicate this layer three times (for a Total of 4) With the Top layer active Effects> Penta> Dot and Cross ... with the following settings
Change this layers Blend Mode to Soft Light ... rename this layer DC Activate the Bottom layer ... Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings
Selections> Promote Selection to Layer ... Selections> Select None Layers> Arrange> Bring To Top ... Image> Free Rotate ... with the following settings
Effects> Image Effects> Offset ... with the following settings
Effects> Distortion Effects> Warp ... with the following settings
Selections> Select All ... Selections> Float ... Selections> Defloat Paste your Close Up as a New Layer
Move over your Selection so the part you want to keep is inside it Selections> Invert ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard Selections> Select None
Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... 0, 0, 100, 0, the color you started off with as your Background color Shadow on New Layer - Checked
Activate the Close Up layer ... Change the Blend Mode to Luminance or Luminance(L) Layers> Merge> Merge Down ... Change the layers Blend Mode to Soft Light or one suitable Layers> Merge> Merge Down ... rename this layer CU
Crop Image 600x250 Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... 0, 4, 100, 20 ... Shadow on New Layer - UnChecked Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with your Dark color Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 2 ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard Rename this layer FR ... Selections> Select None
Paste your Tube as a New Layer and position on the right & apply a suitable Drop Shadow Activate the flux layer Load the Selection I provided at the start of this Tutorial (Spawns-AFallen)
Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings Intensity - 36
Activate the Top layer ... Add Copyrights and your Name
ANIMATING
Return to PSP hide the "flux" layer and unhide the "Copy of flux" layer Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame Return to PSP hide the "Copy of flux" layer and unhide the "Copy (2) of flux" layer Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame
