You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Heather

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Amy Matthews

License and Tubes available at Creative Design Outlet

My selection which you can get HERE ... unzip into your Selections folder

And a Snow Animation

 

Filters:

L en K/Trouble (also know as L&K Filters)

 

 

 

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250 ... Flood Fill White

Effects> L en K> Trouble ... with the following Settings

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with a color from your Tube

Change this layers Blend Mode to Hard Light (or one suitable) ... Layers> Merge> Merge Down

Rename this layer "Background"

 

 

Layers> Duplicate ... Load the Selection I provided with this Tutorial (Spawns-Candy'N'Snow)

Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None

 

 

Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... 0, 0, 100, 10, Black

 

 

Paste your Tube as a New Layer and position on the right side of your Tag

Change the layer Blend Mode to Overlay ... Layers> Arrange> Move Down

Rename this layer "Strips"

 

Paste your Tube as a New Layer again ... Layers> Arrange> Bring to Top

Position on the left side of your Tag and apply a suitable Drop Shadow

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with color of your choice

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 2

Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None

 

 

Add Copyrights and your Name

Hide all layers apart from the Background layer

 

 

 

ANIMATING



Open up your Snow Animation in Animation Shop

Edit> Select All ... Animation> Resize Animation

Make sure the Maintain Aspect Ratio box is checked then click the lil circle next to

Pixel Size then change the Width to 600 and click OK

 

 

Go back to PSP ... Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Hold down CTRL and press keep pressing L until you have the same amount of frames as your Snow Animation has

Activate your Snow Animation ... Edit> Select All ... Edit> Copy

 

 

Activate the background frames Edit> Select All ... Edit> Paste> Into Selected Frames ... click once in the middle to place

Check the positioning is ok View> Animation, once happy close the preview and now you can close the

Snow Animation frames as they no longer needed

 

 

Go back to PSP

Unhide all the hidden layers and hide the Background layer ... Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Return to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Hold down CTRL and press keep pressing L until you have the same amount of frames as your Tag

 

 

Edit> Select All ... Edit> Copy

Activate the Tag frames Edit> Select All ... Edit> Paste> Into Selected Frames

Move into position and click once to place

 

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
