Constellation Traveler (2013)

You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Betina Script Bold

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Michael Calandra

License and Tubes available at Creative Design Outlet

A Preset Shape of your choice - I used PSP's own Gear 3 (under Basic Shapes category)

Filters:

AAA Frames/Foto Frame

Xenofex 2/Constellation

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250 ... Paste your Tube as a New Layer

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... *Wall Paper(rotate) ... default settings

Edit> Repeat Copies ... same settings as above

Adjust> Blur> Motion Blur ... with the following settings

Effects> Edge Effects> Enhance ... Selections> Select All ... Selections> Clip to Canvas

Image> Crop to Selection

Effects> AAA Frames> Foto Frame ... with the following settings

Edit> Repeat Foto Frame ... change the Width to 30

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with White ... Lower the Opacity to 50%

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 40 ... Selections> Invert

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Rename this layer Rect & Duplicate this layer once

Rename the Duplicate layer Con & Duplicate this layer twice (for a total of 3)

Activate the Con layer again

Effects> Xenofex 2> Constellation ... with the following settings

Activate the Copy of Con layer ... Edit> Repeat Constellation ... Hit the Random Seed button once

Activate the Copy (2) of Con layer ... Edit> Repeat Constellation ... Hit the Random Seed button once

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 40 ... Selections> Invert

Activate the Con layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Activate the Copy of Con layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Activate the Copy (2) of Con layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None

Activate your Preset Shape Tool and select the shape you wish to use ... with the settings

Retain Style ... checked

Anti-Alias ... checked

Create as Vector ... checked

Drawn out your Shape and play around til you are happy with it shape (check my tag for size reference)

Objects> Align> Center in Canvas ... Layers> Convert to Raster Layer

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... Tiling ... default settings

(if you used a different shape to me you may want to pop the Tile Gap to 1)

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Float ... Selections> Defloat

Activate the Rect layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Activate the Con layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Activate the Copy of Con layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Activate the Copy (2) of Con layer ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None ... DELETE the layer with the preset shapes on

Hide the Top 2 Con layers

Paste your Tube as a New layer, move to a suitable position and a apply a suitable Drop Shadow

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with Black

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 1 ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None ... Add Copyrights and your Name

ANIMATING

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged ... Now open Animation Shop

Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Return to PSP hide the Con layer and unhide the Copy of Con layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

Return to PSP hide the Copy of Con layer and unhide the Copy (2) of Con layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
