Framez (2012)

First time trying one of my Tutorials? Then please check my Terms of Use before you continue

You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called DB MR T

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Ed Mironiuk

This artist is no longer selling their art in Tube Format

My Selection which you can get HERE ... Unzip into your Selections Folder

Filters:

Mura's Meister/Copies

AAA Frames/Foto Frame

DSB Flux/Bright Noise

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250 ... Paste your Tube as a New Layer

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... *Wall Paper(rotate) ... default settings

If your canvas has any transparent areas ... Edit> Repeat Copies

Effects> Texture Effects> Tiles ... with the following settings

Crop Image 600x250

Effects> AAA Frames> Foto Frame ... with the following settings

Edit> Repeat Foto Frame ... change the Width to 55

Edit> Repeat Foto Frame ... change the Width to 35

Edit> Repeat Foto Frame ... change the Width to 15

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Load the Selection I provided at the start of this Tutorial (Spawns-Framez)

Change your Foreground to a color from your Tube ... Activate your Flood Fill Tool with the following settings

Left Click once inside the Selection ... Selections> Select None

Lower this layers Opacity to around 60%

Rename this layer flux and duplicate it twice (for a total of 3)

Activate the Flux layer

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

Intensity - 20
Direction - Mix

Activate the "Copy of flux" layer

Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... click on the Mix button once then on ok

Activate the "Copy (2) of flux" layer

Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... click on the Mix button once then on ok

Hide the 2 top flux layers for now

Paste your Tube as a New Layer, position on the left and add a suitable Drop Shadow

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with Black

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 1 ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None ... Add Copyrights and your Name

ANIMATING

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Now open Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Return to PSP hide the "flux" layer and unhide the "Copy of flux" layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

Return to PSP hide the "Copy of flux" layer and unhide the "Copy (2) of flux" layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
