Then please check my Terms of Use before you continue You will need: Font of your choice - I used one called Glowing Goth Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Jose Cano License and Tubes now available at CanoTubes And my selection which you can get HERE ... unzip into your Selections folder (same selection as used in Glitter Ball Tutorial)
Filters: xero/Fritillary
Ok let's begin Open a New Image 600x250 and Flood Fill it Black Load the Selection I provided (Spawns-Sphere) Selections> Promote Selection to Layer Activate the bottom layer ... Selections> Modify> Expand ... by 15 Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None
Activate the Top layer Selections> Select All ... Selections> Float ... Selections> Defloat Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 3 Flood Fill the Selection with a color from your Tube
Effects> xero> Fritillary ... with the following settings Selections> Select None
Activate the Bottom layer Selections> Select All ... Selections> Float ... Selections> Defloat Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 3 Flood Fill the Selection with a color from your Tube
Effects> xero> Fritillary ... with the following settings Selections> Select None
Paste your Tube as a New Layer Move to the left side of your tag so it is nicely positioned over the Fritillary area Apply a suitable Drop Shadow Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror Merge these two layers together
Activate the Bottom layer Selections> Select All ... Selections> Float ... Selections> Defloat Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 3 ... Selection> Invert
Activate the Tube layer and hit DELETE on your keyboard Change the Tube layers Blend mode to one suitable ... I used Luminance (L)
Activate the Top layer Paste your Tube as a New Layer again Move into position over the circle in the middle and apply a suitable Drop Shadow
Load the Selection I provided again Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 3 ... Selections> Invert Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None
Add Copyrights and your Name ... Layers> Merge> Merge Visible Crop your image 600x250 And that's it all done now all that's left is to save you tag as a PNG The reason for saving as PNG and not JPEG is so the erased parts stay transparent
