You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Ekistra

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Ismael Rac

License and Tubes available now available at Scraps and Company

And my selection which you can get HERE ... unzip into your Selections folder

 

Filters:

Mura's Meister/Copies

DSB Flux/Bright Noise

 

 

 

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Top - 20

Right - 600

Bottom - 30

Left - 0

Flood Fill the Selection with the color Black

 

 

Selections> Select None

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... Tiling ... change the Tile Gap to 5

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Top - 0

Right - 300

Bottom - 250

Left -0

 

Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None

Effects> Geometric Effects> Spherize ... with the following settings

Strength - 100

Shape - Circle

 

 

Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror ... Layers> Merge> Merge Visible

Layers> Duplicate ... Layers> Merge> Merge Visible

Rename this layer "Black Lines"

 

 

Activate your Flood Fill Tool

Change your Foreground and Background to two colors from your Tube

Ligher color being the Foreground

Click on your Foreground again and create a Gradient ... with the following settings

Style - Sunburst

Repeats - 0

Invert - unchecked

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer

Flood Fill this new layer with your Gradient

Move this layer to the bottom in your layer palette and rename it "Background"

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer

Rename this new layer "Sphere" move it to the middle in your layer palette and make sure it is active

Load the Selection I provided with this Tutorial

 

 

Now you need to swap colors

Now Flood Fill the Selection ... Selections> Select None

 

 

Duplicate this layer twice (for a total of 3)

Activate the "Sphere" layer

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

Intensity - 25

Direction - Mix

Activate the "Copy (2) of Sphere" layer

Edit> Repeat Bright Noise ... Click on the Mix button once then on ok

Activate the "Copy of Sphere" layer

Edit> Repeat Bright Noise ... Click on the Mix button once then on ok

 

 

Hide the "Copy of Sphere" and the "Copy (2) of Sphere" layers

Paste your Close Up as a New Layer ... rename it "Close Up"

move this layer between the "Background" and "Sphere" layers

and lower the layers Opacity (I lowered to 30%)

 

 

Paste your Tubes as a New Layer ... rename it "Tube"

Move this layer to the Top in your layer palette

Position to your liking and apply a suitable Drop Shadow

 

 

Crop image 600x250

Layers> New Raster Layer ... change your Foreground from Gradient to Color

Flood Fill layer with your Foreground color

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 3

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

 

 

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 2

Selections> Invert ... Flood Fill the Selection with your Background color

Selections> Select All

Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 1

Selections> Invert

Flood Fill the Selection with your Foreground color

Add Copyrights and your Name

 

 

 

 

ANIMATING

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Now open Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Return to PSP hide the "Sphere" layer and unhide the "Copy of Sphere " layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

 

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

Return to PSP hide the "Copy of Sphere " layer and unhide the "Copy (2) of Sphere " layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

 

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
