Jellybean (2011)

First time trying one of my Tutorials? Then please check my Terms of Use before you continue

You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Kunstware

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Ismael Rac

License and Tubes available now available at Scraps and Company

My selection which you can get HERE ... unzip into your Selections folder

Filters:

Kang 3/Mercedes Jellybean

Mura's Meister/Copies

DSB Flux/Bright Noise
AAA Frames/Foto Frame

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250 Flood Fill with a color from your Tube

Effects> Kang 3> Mercedes Jellybean ... with the following settings

Select your Magic Wand Tool ... with these settings

Click on a Black part of your image like so

Selections> Modify> Select Color Range ... with the following settings

Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None

Load the selection I provided at the start of the Tutorial
(Spawns-Jellybean)

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None

Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... with the following settings

Rename this layer "Jellybean"

Paste your Tube as a new layer

In your layer palette move this layer to the bottom and rename it "Background"

Effects> Mura’s Meister> Copies .... Wallpaper rotate (default settings)

Crop image to 600x250

Adjust> Blur> Radial Blur ... with the following settings

Effects> Edge Effects> Enhance

Layers> New Raster Layer ... drag to the top of your layer palette

Load my selection again and Flood Fill with a color from your Tube then lower the layers opacity to about 40%

Rename layer "Low Opacity"

Keep selection ... Layers> New Raster Layer

Selections> Invert ... Flood Fill areas White

Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 5

Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None

Effects> 3D Effects> Inner Bevel ... with the following settings

Merge this layer with the "Low Opacity" layer

Selections> Select All

Selections> Modify> Select Selection Borders ... with the following settings

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Activate the "Jellybean" layer and hit DELETE on your keyboard again

Selections> Select None ... Select the "Background" layer

Apply Effects> AAA Frames> Foto Frame ... with the following settings

Activate the "Jellybean" layer ... Duplicate twice (for a total of 3)

Activate the "Jellybean" layer again

Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

Activate the "Copy of Jellybean" layer

Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... click on the Mix button once then on ok

Activate the "Copy (2) of Jellybean" layer

Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... click on the Mix button once then on ok

Paste your Tube as a new layer

In your layer palette move this layer to the top (if not already there)

Select your Mover Tool and move your Tube into a position you are happy with then add a suitable Drop Shadow

Crop image to 600x250

Selections> Select All

Selections> Modify> Select Selections Border ... with the following settings

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None

Add Copyrights and your Name

Now it’s time to save your Tag ready to be animated
File> Save As ... under "File Type" choose PSP Animation Shop (*psp.)
