You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Boulevard

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of KennyK - License and Tubes available at CDO

 

Filters:

Mura's Meister/Copies

DSB Flux/ Bright Noise

Eye Candy 4000/Swirls

 

 

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250

 

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Flood Fill with a color from your Tube

 

Layers> New Raster Layer

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Flood Fill with a second color from your Tube ... Selections> Select None

Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror ... Layers>Merge> Merge Down

 

Layers> New Raster Layer

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Flood Fill with a third color from your Tube ... Selections> Select None

Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror ... Layers> Merge> Merge Visible ... Effects> Edge Effects> Enhance

 

Select your Magic Wand Tool ... with the following settings

 

and click inside your two bottom strips ... should look like so

 

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

 

Selections> Select None ... Apply a slight Drop Shadow

(I used 0, 0, 100, 3, Black)

 

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... *Wall Paper ... default settings

If your Canvas has gaps ... Edit> Repeat Copies ... same settings

 

Rename this layer "Swirl" ... Duplicate this layer twice for a total of 3

 

Select your Magic Wand Tool with the same settings as before

and click inside one of the strips (not one of the color that has Bright Noise) like so

 

Selections> Modify> Select Color Range ... with the following settings

 

 

Activate the "Swirl" layer

Effects> Eye Candy 4000> Swirls ... Default Settings ... click the Random Seed button once

 

Activate the "Copy of Swirl" layer ... Edit> Repeat Swirl ... click the Random Seed button once then on OK

Activate the "Copy (2) of Swirl" layer ... Edit> Repeat Swirl ... click the Random Seed button once then on OK

 

Selections> Select None ... Hide the top 2 Swirl layers for now

 

Paste your Tube as a New Layer .. move it to the right side of your Tag

Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror ... change the Blend Mode of the Original to Soft Light

 

Apply a suitable Drop Shadow to the Duplicate

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill layer with one of your three colors

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 4

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

 

Selections> Modify> Expand ... by 1 ... Selections> Invert

Flood Fill this Selection with another of your three colors ... Selections> Select None

Add Copyrights and your Name

 

 

ANIMATING


Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Now open Animation Shop

Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Return to PSP hide the "Swirl" layer and unhide the "Copy of Swirl" layer
Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop

Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

Return to PSP hide the "Copy of Swirl" layer and unhide the "Copy (2) of Swirl" layer
Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Go back to Animation Shop

Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

 

Edit> Select All ... Animation> Frame Properties ... change to 15 and click OK

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
