You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Retroscript

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Fred Winkler - License and Tubes available at CDO

 

Filters:

VM Extravaganza/Transmission

Eye Candy 6/Gradient Glow

DSB Flux/Bright Noise

 

 

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250 and Flood Fill with a color from your Tube

 

Layers> Duplicate and with the Duplicate active

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Top - 0

Right - 300

Bottom - 250

Left - 0

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None

 

Activate the Bottom layer

Effects> VM Extravaganza> Transmission ... with the following settings

Line Width - 34

Offset - 0

Contrast 40

 

Activate the Top layer

Effects> VM Extravaganza> Transmission ... with the following settings

Line Width - 34

Offset - 0

Contrast 10

 

Activate the Bottom layer

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Top - 0

Right - 40

Bottom - 10

Left - 0

Selections> Modify> Select Color Range ... with the following settings

Tolerance - 20

Softness - 20

Reference color - change to color you used to Flood Fill at the start

Add Color Range - checked

 

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

Intensity - 24

Direction - Mix

 

Activate the Top layer ... Selection> Invert

Effects> Texture Effects> Weave ... with the following settings

Tile Gap - 2

Width - 4

Opacity - 17

Weave & Gap color - a dark suitable one

Selections> Invert

 

Go to your Tube image ... Edit> Copy

Go back to your Tag ... Edit> Paste As New Layer

Position nicely on the left side of your tag (resize if needed)

Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Invert

 

Activate the Middle layer

Effects> Eye Candy 6> Gradient Glow ... with the following settings

Click on the "Settings" tab and select the following

Simple (thin) - Black

Click on the "Basic" tab

change the Glow Radius to 2 and the color to of your choosing

Selections> Select None

 

Drag the Tube layer between the other two in your layer palette and change it's opacity to around 60%

Copy and paste your Tube image as a new layer again and move it to the top in your layer palette

Give it a blurry Drop Shadow

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with color of your choice

Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract .. . by 2

Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None

 

Add Copyrights and your Name
Layers> Merge> Merge Visible

Now all that's left is to save your image and your done.
