You will need:

Font of your choice - I used one called Dragonwick

Tube and Close Up of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Garrett Blair

This artist is not currently selling their art in Tube Format

 

Filters:

Mura's Meister/Copies

VM Extravaganza/Transmission

 

 

 

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250

Change your Foreground and Background to two colors from your Tube

Flood Fill image with your Foreground Color

 

 

Effects> VM Extravaganza> Transmission ... with the following settings

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

 

 

Flood Fill this Selection with your Background color ... Selections> Select None

Effects> Distortion Effects> Wave ... with the following settings

 

 

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... Tiling ... change Tile Gap to 20

Effects> Image Effects> Offset ... with the following settings

 

 

 

Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror ... Layers> Merge> Merge Down

Effects> VM Extravaganza> Transmission ... same settings as earlier

Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... 0, 0, 100, 20, Black

 

 

Rename this layer "flux"

Duplicate this layer twice for a total of 3 and then activate the "flux" layer again

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

 

 

Selections> Modify> Select Color Range ... with the following settings

(For reference color hover over your tag and click once inside your selection, you will see the reference color change)

 

 

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

 

 

Activate the "Copy of flux" layer ... Edit> Repeat Bright Noise ... click the Mix button once

Activate the "Copy (2) of flux" layer ... Edit> Repeat Bright Noise ... click the Mix button once

Selections> Select None ... Hide the top two flux layers for now

 

 

Paste your Close Up as a New Layer and in your layer palette move this below your flux layer

Move into a suitable position (look at my sample tag for reference)

Change the layers Blend Mode to Luminance(L) or one suitable

 

 

Paste your Tube as a New Layer ... Layers> Arrange> Bring to Top

Apply a Suitable Drop Shadow ... Crop Image 600x250

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with color of choice

Selections> Select All ...Selections> Modify> Contract ... by 2 ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard

Selections> Select None

 

Add Copyrights and your Name

 

 

 

ANIMATING


Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

Now open Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> As New Animation

Return to PSP hide the "flux" layer and unhide the "Copy of flux" layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

 

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

Return to PSP hide the "Copy of flux" layer and unhide the "Copy (2) of flux" layer

Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged

 

Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
