Then please check my Terms of Use before you continue You will need: Font of your choice - I used one called TrekkieDisplaySSK Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Ted Hammond License and Tubes available at Creative Design Outlet My Selection HERE ... unzip into your Selections folder
Filters: DSB Flux/Bright Noise
Ok let's begin Change your Foreground to a Dark color from your Tube Change your Background to a Light color from your Tube Click on your Foreground again & change to Gradient ... with the following settings
Open a New Image 530x250 Flood Fill with your Gradient Effects> Distortion Effects> Pixelate ... with the following settings
Effects> Edge Effects> Enhance Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with your Dark color Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 3 Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None Adjust> Add/Remove Noise> Add Noise ... with the following setting
Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... 0, 0, 100, 5, Black
Image> Canvas Size ... with the following settings
Layers> New Raster Layer Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings
Click on your Foreground and change Repeats to 1 Flood Fill the Selection with your Gradient Effects> Distortion Effects> Pixelate ... with the same settings as earlier Effects> Edge Effects> Enhance
Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill the Selection with your Dark color Selections> Modify> Contract by 3 Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None Adjust> Add/Remove Noise> Add Noise ... with the same settings as earlier
Make a Custom Selection ... same settings as last time Paste your Tube as a New Layer and move into position (part you want to keep inside the selection) Selections> Invert ... Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None
Layers> Arrange> Move Down Change this layers Blend Mode to one suitable (I used Soft Light)
Activate the Bottom layer ... Rename it Flux ... Duplicate this layer twice (for a total of 3) Activate the Flux layer Load the Selection I provided with the Tutorial (Spawns-Red)
Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings
Paste your Tube as a New Layer Layers> Arrange> Bring To Top ... Position on the right side of your Tag Apply a blurry Drop Shadow
Add Copyrights and your Name
Activate the "Copy (2) of Flux" layer Layers> New Raster Layer Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings
Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... 0, 0, 100, 15, Black
This next step may appear to do nothing but will remove any Drop Shadow pixels inside the transparent area that you may not see Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings
Hit DELETE on your keyboard ... Selections> Select None
ANIMATING
Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged
Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged
Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame
