You will need:
Font of your choice - I used one called 3D Perspection
Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Garrett Blair
This artist is not currently selling their art in Tube Format
Filters:
Kang 3/Mercedes Jellybean
Eye Candy 6/Gradient Glow
Mura's Meister/Copies
DSB Flux/Bright Noise
L en K/Mayra (also known as L&K Filters)
Ok let's begin
Open a New Image 600x50 and Flood Fill with a color from your Tube
Make a note of this colors HTML code as you will need it later
Effects> Kang 3> Mercedes Jellybean ... with the following settings
size x - 100
size y - 100
shape - 100
light forming 1 - 122
light forming 2 - 122
light forming 3 - 122
shift light - 122
control light - 255
Image> Canvas Size ... with the following settings
New Dimensions
Lock Aspect Ratio - unchecked
Set dropdown box to Pixels
Width - 600
Height - 250
Placement
Centered - click the middle square (one with a black diamond in)
Effects> Eye Candy 6> Gradient Glow ... with the following settings
Click on the "Settings" tab and select the following
Simple (thin) - Black
Click on the "Basic" tab
change the Glow Radius to 4 and the color from Black to bright color that stands out (I am using white)
and click on ok
Effects> Distortion Effects> Twirl ... -110 degrees
Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies .... *Line ... change the number from 8 to 5
Effects> Image Effects> Offset ... with the following settings
Horizontal - 0
Vertical - 90
Custom - checked
Transparent - checked
Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Flip ... Layers> Merge> Merge Visible
Rename this layer "flux"
Duplicate this layer twice (for a total of 3)
Activate the "flux" layer
Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings
Top - 49
Right - 32
Bottom - 54
Left - 23
Selections> Modify> Select Color Range ... with the following settings
Tolerance - 20
Softness - 20
Add Color Range - checked
Reference color - hover your mouse over your Tag and left-click inside the selection
(the reference color box should change to the color you clicked on)
Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings
Intensity - 30
Direction - Mix
Activate the "Copy of flux" layer
Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... click on the Mix button once then on ok
Activate the "Copy (2) of flux" layer
Effects> dsb flux> Bright Noise ... click on the Mix button once then on ok
Selections> Select None ... Hide the 2 top flux layers for now
Activate your Flood Fill Tool
Click on your Foreground and enter the HTML code
I asked you to make a note of at the start of the Tutorial ... click OK
Change your Background color to White
Click on your Foreground again and make a Gradient ... with the following settings
Style - Linear
Angle - 0
Repeats - 1
Invert - unchecked
Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill this layer with your Gradient
Effects> L en K> Mayra ... with the following settings
Control 0 - 0
Control 1 - 255
Control 2 - 255
Control 3 - 255
Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror
On the top layer change the Blend Mode to Lighten
Layers> Merge> Merge Down ... Layers> Arrange> Send to Bottom
Paste your Tube as a new layer
Move this layer to the Top in your layer palette (if not already there)
Position to your liking then add a suitable Drop Shadow (resize if needed)
Crop image 600x250
Layers> New Raster Layer ... Selections> Select All
Selections> Modify> Select Selection Borders ... with the following settings
Inside
Anti Alias - checked
Border Width - 2
Flood Fill your Border Selection with a suitable color
Selections> Select None
Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... with the following settings
Vertical - 0
Horizontal - 0
Opacity - 100
Blur - 3
Color - one of your choice
Edit> Repeat Drop Shadow ... Add Copyrights and your Name
ANIMATING
Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged
Now open Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> As New Animation
Return to PSP hide the "flux" layer and unhide the "Copy of flux" layer
Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged
Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame
Return to PSP hide the "Copy of flux" layer and unhide the "Copy (2) of flux" layer
Edit> Copy Special> Copy Merged
Go back to Animation Shop ... Edit> Paste> After Current Frame
And that's it all that's left is to save your Tag ... If you wish to Preview it first View> Animation
